“Bite off more than you can chew, then keep chewing.”

I spent 13 years of my life as a professional cyclist, being outside, eating healthy and exploring beautiful roads on my bike throughout the world. I founded Wrenegade Sports in 2014 to share my passion for cycling and healthy living with a wider audience and to empower athletes to achieve personal goals and live healthier lives.

I am very excited to continue building the Farm to Fork Fondo series. We’ve been expanding steadily since our first Farm to Fork Fondo event in 2015, and new locations in North Carolina and Kentucky in 2019 are particularly exciting to me. Once again we get to engage a whole new set of rural communities and farm families with our mission of bringing the cycling and farming worlds together.

What I ride: I have about 12 bikes in my garage and I love them all! Especially my new beautiful celeste Bianchi Oltre road bike. Also have a Jamis 29’r mountain bike and a Jamis carbon cyclocross bike, among others.

Hobbies/Interests: Thinking about our mission statement, overcoming obstacles, fresh food, backing big trailers, carpentry projects, riding bicycles and motorcycles, CrossFit

“Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.”

I’ve been working in myriad roles in and around non-profit organizations, natural/sustainable food ventures, and the cycling industry for the past 25 years. I was drawn to the Farm to Fork Fondo series because I love its fusion of cycling, farming, food, and positive community contribution. For me, it is a perfect way to be a part of meaningful mission-driven events that also happen to be things about which I am already passionate. I am also a certified yoga teacher in the Burlington community.

What I ride: Road: Cannondale Synapse; Trek 470 Fast Track; vintage Peugeot Iseran with Shimano 600 components; 1969 Huffy Super Stock V. Trail: Specialized Hardrock. Snow: Burton Supermodel 155; Atomic AT XC skis. Yoga: Manduka Black Mat Pro

Hobbies/Interests: being outside, cycling, hiking, paddling, XC skiing, snowboarding, yoga, gardening, sustainable ag, woodworking, craft beer, growing hops, keeping my old Saab convertible going

“It will be fine.”

I grew up in Richmond, Virginia and moved to Vermont for college. I graduated from the University of Vermont in December 2017, with a degree in Accounting and Entrepreneurship, and a second degree in Economics. Before I came to Wrenegade Sports, I worked as a counselor at a climbing and kayaking camp for seven years. In addition I was a staff member of the Outdoor Discovery School at L.L. Bean.

I have always had a passion for all things outdoors. Growing up I regularly attended Boy Scouts and I have spent more than 100 nights in a tent. My Dad taught me how to mountain bike on the Richmond Trail System. Mountain biking and hiking take up my summers, while skiing occupies my winters. Recently I have also started stand up paddle boarding which I highly recommend!

What I ride: Road: Felt VR. Trail: Specialized Stumpjumper. Snow: a quiver of downhill and backcountry skis

Hobbies/Interests: cycling, hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, mountains

“Bend toward the mission.”

I've been working in nonprofit organizations since 2008. I earned my Masters of Science in Managing Mission Driven Organizations from Marlboro College in 2016. I've worked as a program manager for the Vermont Arts Council, a founding director of The Art House, and have served on the local Dismas House community board and volunteered for many charitable events. Furthering the mission of Wrenegade Sports Foundation and Farm to Fork Fondo is an exciting fusion of my love of mission-driven work and stewardship for communities like my hometown. I believe in the preserving the quiet and wild qualities of rural areas and natural resources, so that we can play in them and work in them for generations to come. When I'm not working I enjoy backcountry backpacking in national parks, and I finished the Long Trail in 2018.

What I ride: My Alpina cross country skis on winter trails, my Diamond Back Over Ride bicycle complete with homemade rear wooden rack and reed basket on the Burlington bike path, and my beat up hiking boots in the mountains.

Hobbies/Interests: Hiking, kayaking or canoeing, leisure biking, printmaking, chickens, homesteading

“If you never fall you aren’t trying hard enough.”

I am senior at Champlain College and moved to Vermont from a small town in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho. I am majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Entrepreneurship, and will be receiving my degree in the spring of 2019. I have started a few small companies, all of which have revolved around healthy, outdoor lifestyles, so I am extremely excited to be working with Wrenegade Sports.

Growing up in Idaho meant that I was always surrounded by nature, and my childhood was filled to the brim with things like camping and outdoor sports. While I love all things outdoors, my favorite activity has always been skiing. I spent seven years competing in freestyle skiing and made it to nationals my sophomore and junior years of high school. Since moving to Vermont I have found that one of my new favorite things to do when the snow melts is rock climbing. I hope to use my passion for the outdoors to help all of our participants have a fun and new experience at our events.

What I Ride: Trails: Turner Sultan. Pavement: Super 73 S1, Arbor James Kelly Pro Model, Lib Tech Parillo Dreams. Rock: La Sportiva Tarantula. Snow: K2 Sight, 4FRNT Switchblade, J Skis Friend, K2 Press, Burton Custom.

“Are you going to eat that?”

Found wandering along Route 15 in Jeffersonville, VT in 2009, Lucky's early years are a mystery. Since that time, Lucky has lived in Underhill with his family, including his two feline friends Jose and Aurora.

Always a gentleman, Lucky is lover of other dogs, cats, kids, and other humans of all ages. Quick to greet you with a wagging tail and a well-rehearsed begging face, Lucky is keen on wooing food from all that he meets. An accomplished year-round hiker and avid swimmer, Lucky loves being outside as much as possible and is a culinary connoisseur of tall grasses. When he's not sleeping or eating, he's thinking about sleeping or eating. He is a daily onsite member of the Wrenegade crew, and can be seen around the greater Burlington area sniffing the scents in the air from the back of his Dad's old convertible.

What I Ride: In the backseat of any car with an open window, or in Dad’s canoe

Hobbies/Interests: Hiking, swimming, cleaning dishes, greeting the UPS and FedEx guys
